Few days ago I suggested some tips for YouTube where one can download MP3 files, videos or even make a gif from any video of choice. For those who do not want to make use of that method (if you find it tideos to make changes in URL ) here there is an app called Keepvid which should help you. However, you can only download MP3 files and videos only and not make a gif out of them. The major advantage of the app is that you can download videos directly from other sites too apart from YouTube.
The app interface is quite simple having a tile layout of various websites to download the content. The best part is that you can download videos and music files from Facebook, Instagram, Dailymotion, vine and so on. SoundCloud is there too to suffice your music needs.
If you do not find any particular source but just have a URL , you can directly download the media file by pasting the URL. I know I have included my site but thats just a reference. You can download only media files , do remember...!
There are many other sites to choose from and surprisingly there was IPL 2016 too. Guess someone wants to download content from there too. For adding the sites just click on add button (usually its after the last tile) and hover around to select one.
Here, I have selected a particular video to be downloaded. Just click the site from where you want to download. It will open an inbuilt browser where you can search for that particular video. Just click on download button and select the resolution or MP3 option.
After selecting the download option, you will be greeted with more options consisting of resolution or an option to only download audio file i.e MP3. Here options for video vary from 144p till 1080p (an advantage over the previous method of making changes in URL as for higher resolution there was no audio)
In the above Pic I opened my INSTAGRAM account to download a video. Here, Instagram is opened in the inbuilt browser where over the video you will get a download option.
