Samsung's next galaxy s series device i.e the s8 has been the most anticipated device which has been into rumours for quite sometime. When compared to other devices popularity in terms of rumours, the S8 is ahead as most people are interested in it. After the unfortunate note 7 fiasco, the expectations with S8 has been very high.
Also the success of S7 and the S7 edge , its features, performance and especially the camera had made it one of the best devices to own a year ago.
Speaking of the S8 rumors , they look very interesting and also gives an indication of future success for Samsung (hope they dont have a blast this time : pun intended )
This was the image of the S8 (expected) which was leaked and is anticipated to be under test in China. Indeed it can be clearly seen that the home button which was a special symbol of Samsung as it was present on all of its devices will not be present on the S8. Also the Samsung's logo is shifted towards the bottom. However, leaks and the actual device may vary.
Another leak was from a case maker Ghostek in which the cases for the S8 were shown. Accordingly, the casemakers usually get the dimensions and cut outs for the device but some information can be removed from it. The leaked images of the device and the dimensions of the case seem to be matching.
Another most interesting leak was from a Twitter account named as Dfordesign which clearly shows the screen panel for the s8 and the s8 plus (another version may be)

However, it resembles like the previous S series device without a home button ( fingerprint sensor could be embedded in the screen ). The rumours of S8 without a headphone jack is also quite strong.
There could be a dual camera setup for the S8 plus Variant which may not be present with the regular S8.

- The regular S8 may have a 5.7/5.8 inch screen and the plus Variant may have a larger 6.2 inch screen.
- Both the variants could be curved and may have a 2K screen (earlier rumors were of a 4K screen)
- Powered by either the Snapdragon 835 or the exynos 8895 chipset depending on regions.
- RAM may be 6 or 8 GB.
- Internal storage options might be upto 256 GB.
- May come up with its own assistant called as Bixby assistant.
- Will be equipped with Iris scanner as found in the Note 7
Nothing can be said about camera now as Samsung is known to add good cameras with their flagship and the same was with the s7 and the edge.
The device is expected to be more expensive than the price that the s7 was launched at and finally the device could be launched at the end of March. Earlier there were hints at unveiling in the MWC which is scheduled from Feb 27 to March 2nd, however the possibility seems minimum.
The device will go on sale by April.
