Inshot:
Video editor apps on android are pretty much basic and also in some apps for additional features we need to pay some amount. I gave a try to some of the apps on the play store and found one which you may find interesting. Inshot is a video editor app developed by Inshot.inc Its download rate and ratings made me download and try the app. ( 10 million downloads and rating of 4.6 )
You can also edit images and add various filters and other effects and collage the images.

On launching the app you can choose either a video, image , or images to form a collage and also material. However most of the materials are paid.
For video
These are some of the effects which you can apply to the videos. You can add music, blur the background, trim the video , add text , flip it by 180 degree , add stickers , etc. These features for a mobile platform are great. One cant compare it with a professional video editor though :-)

This is a sample video from a flight simulator. I have edited the video which was a screen recording. I just added a text and enhanced it slightly. You can choose a variety of options to edit.
For image
In case of image, there are not many options when compared to many other popular image editor apps. Its main usage is in terms of video. However you get the basic options to edit the image.
For collage you can select upto 9 images.
It displays the recent images from your gallery and you can easily select them.
Indeed this app is excellent for video editing. However as said earlier for images its quite basic. The video editor works great and as seen in the video the inshot watermark will always be there unless you pay to remove it.
