Google keyboard is one of the most used keyboard apps. Indeed its known for its simplicity and its quite efficient and intelligent too. By intelligent i mean the predictive text (at times it can ruin your sentence though). However google is making it more smarter with updates and making it more customizable by adding theme support, etc
In its recent release google has added additional or rather bigger feature called g board.

From the image it can be seen as not a major upgrade as the only addition is the google symbol however it is much more.
Tapping on it you get recommendations and you can simply search anything even get weather details like a normal browser.
It's basically a browser embedded in a keyboard. Its main use will be when you have to search something while chatting or messaging and share the search instantly. Indeed its a useful feature.
Minor changes have been made in the emoji section where it seems to have got a useless layer over the emojis but it is what it is. Gif s can be added however its not working in whatsapp and default messege app of the phone. Rest all features like one hand use and quick access to settings are all present.
