Microsoft To-Do : can it suffice your reminder needs?

Microsoft recently added another app to the play store i.e the Microsoft To- do. This app as the name goes by is focussed on daily to do list. There are quite a few apps which provide these features as well as allow us to take notes and here Microsoft released their version of it. Is it any good to replace your to-do app, lets find out.

Microsoft To-Do

On launching the app, you will get the interface showing the date and day with a list of your tasks or reminders for that day. You can add the tasks or reminders by clicking the plus button.

Here, I am adding a task to get groceries. I can add it to my day where it will appear in the list.  You can choose to add a reminder at any time and date as well as add a due date to complete any task. Notes to that particular task can also be added.

Once you have added the task it will appear as above. Everytime you open the app it will appear. You can also add multiple tasks and select or deselect the check box to indicate whether its complete or not.
If you select it, the task gets a strike through.

You can also add list containing tasks or parameters to complete. Once completed you can check them as done and remove them too.

Here in the above list , I understand I took a lame example however the concept is more important. Here , I have created a list of practical pattern consisting of sub- list of Aim, apparatus and diagram. You can rename the list, change theme which just changes the title background, sort or even send the list.

Once you are done with them, just check them which indicates the task or list completion.
The more practical application is in creating a grocery list,  daily task list, travel itenary, plan and so on.

This is the sole working of the app. Microsoft's rival i.e Google has its own and better version i.e Google keep. I did cover this earlier however its more dynamic and once can add notes, reminders as well as organise a to-do list. The Microsoft to-do just let's you add the list and notes pertaining to the list. You cannot createseparate notes.
Hence, the Google keep is way better. The only advantage is that the to do app is available even on the windows store which on linking with your Microsoft account, you will be able to sync your tasks there too.
If you want to give it a try refer the link below.
Do remember that the app has been recently released and more features could be added soon.
