Xiaomi achieved great success by selling a huge amount of the Redmi note 3 device in India. They could sell more than 600,000 units since the time they launched it in India. The price to performance ratio and especially the availability of the midrange chipset from Snapdragon i.e the 650 was available for just about Rs. 12000.
Similar and more astonishing figures have been achieved again by Xiaomi by selling the successor i.e the Redmi note 4.
Also with the note 4 , Xiaomi has become the first company to sell a million devices under a span of 2 months since its release i.e in 45 days. As such it was quite difficult to grab the note 4 in every flash sale and you could be lucky if you grabbed the perfect variant and colour that you wanted. Hence, settling for any variant was the last option.
Speaking of the Redmi note 4 , it sports a 5.5 inch 1080p display i.e IPS LCD , Snapdragon 625 chipset based on 14nm process having 8 cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.0gHz and has adreno 506 as gpu. This device is available in India in 2,3,4 GB RAM variant and has either 32GB or 64GB ( for 4 GB variant ) internal storage.
It has 4100mAh battery and has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera.
The next sale for the device is on March 15th via Flipkart at 12 noon Indian time.
