HP Enters the Consumer VPN Space through A Partnership with ExpressVPN

HP is a giant tech company that deals with the sale of PCs and other computing devices. After the realization that their clients connect to unsafe public Wi-Fi networks without thinking of the safety and privacy implications, the company has decided to heighten the security on their devices by entering into a partnership with a popular VPN service provider—ExpressVPN. ExpressVPN, a top VPN rated by Techradar, helps users access the internet securely and unblock restricted websites. It also gives you access to the latest shows and films in foreign Netflix catalogs and lets you stream in safety mode.
ExpressVPN does all these by changing your IP address to a more secure server that enables you to browse the internet anonymously and securely. HP hopes that this service will help protect their customers by allowing them to have a secure and anonymous connection.
The HP and ExpressVPN Partnership
On September 30, 2019, ExpressVPN announced its partnership with the giant PC Company HP aimed at helping HP laptop users stay anonymous and safe online. Through this partnership, selected HP customers will be secured from the word-go as the ExpressVPN protection will come preinstalled on some of the devices, starting with the new Spectre x360 13. Don’t worry if buying the new laptop model is not within your budget right now. HP plans to include this feature in more of its devices in the coming months.
Those who purchase the Spectre x360 13 will receive a dedicated 30-day free VPN trial that will allow access to all ExpressVPN applications. This will be an addition to the array of security features that come with the new Spectre x360 13 laptop model.
The ExpressVPN and HP partnership is not your everyday "load-and-forget" OEM software pact which is always understood as being bloatware. According to the two parties, this is a big product integration that actually took months of hard work from both HP and ExpressVPN, including a diligent security review process. And, to show their full trust to the VPN Company, HP decided to pin the software to the taskbar.
This partnership is a clear indication that VPNs are becoming indispensable tools when it comes to protecting user privacy and security. It’s a good thing that ExpressVPN plans to have more of such partnerships where it will team up with other major technology brands to ensure everyone gets the anonymity and security they desire while online.

About ExpressVPN
ExpressVPN is one of the best all-round VPNs in terms of privacy, speed, and unlocking. It has 3,000 servers, 160 server locations, 30, 000 IP addresses, and is able to support up to a maximum of 5 devices.
All that functionality may sound intimidating to those new to VPN usage, but ExpressVPN is more than happy to help with their excellent 24/7 live customer support. The website is also full of detailed tutorials and guides to get you started.
About the Spectre x360 13
The newly redesigned Spectre x360 13 laptop model from HP is a sight to behold. The elegant 13.3-inch laptop comes with incredible 22-hour battery life to last you an entire day of browsing, strong performance, and thunderous speakers that make it stand out. Add that to a striking display screen, integrated IR camera, privacy camera kill switch, fingerprint reader, and an integrated privacy screen and the Spectre x360 becomes the first pick for shoppers looking for a 2-in-1, ultrabook, all-round laptop.

ExpressVPN indeed scored a plus with its partnership with HP. We are glad to see that both device manufacturers and consumers are quickly realizing the privacy and security benefits that VPNs provide. For instance, without using a VPN, you risk exposing your sensitive data to hackers who are waiting for you to use unsecured public Wi-Fi networks. Also, ISPs, Governments, and network administrators could be snooping on your browsing history. It is no surprise that VPN options are increasing and are being used in place of or in addition to conventional online security alternatives.
