Lg announces the V30 Plus in India for Rs. 44990

The LG V30 was unveiled during the IFA 2017 in August and is the successor to the V20 announced last year. The V20 like the V10 came with a secondary display that was the main highlight of the V series. However, with the V30, LG has ditched the secondary display to pave the way for 18:9 aspect ratio. The V30+ is identical to the V30 in all respects and the only difference is in terms of storage with the V30+ having double the storage than the latter.

The V30+ comes with front and back glass body flanked by Gorilla Glass 5 protection and metallic frame to the sides. The camera lens has Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device overall has the Military standard protection (MIL-STD-810G) which is also present on the G6. This will make the device resistant to some impacts however everything depends on fate ;-)

With the V30, LG has not only ditched the secondary display but also the Metallic body and removable back panel which housed the removable battery. Although it may be a bummer for many but the glass back has enabled wireless charging. The rear houses the 2 camera sensors, LED flash and the fingerprint sensor at the center and speaking of the headphone jack, yes! It does exist and the addition of 32 bit Quad DAC will ensure better sound output.

Along with better audio experience, the cameras on the V30+ are an icing to the cake. Why am I exaggerating it? Well, LG is one of those brands that enable PRO mode in their cameras for Video along with Still images. The Pro Mode for Video will help many content creators out there who don't prefer spending a bank on DSLR's however do remember that the DSLR quality will be better any time when compared to any smartphone be it even the Revolutionary iPhone X :-P.

The device will go on sale starting December 18th via Amazon and will retain for Rs. 44990. It will be available in Black and Silver color variants.
